MIB Models began trading in second-hand model railway items in 2001. Business became brisk, but a shortage of good quality items to sell led to the opening of our shop in Porthcawl in 2003.  Since that time, our ranges of both suppliers and goods stocked has consistently increased.

Although tucked away in the picturesque village of Newton, there is free parking outside the shop.

 

As our regular customers will (hopefully!) testfiy, we offer excellent value for money.  Advice is offered, but if we do not know the answer to your query, we can normally find out! Usually, tea and coffee are offered, and - if you are lucky - biscuits are sometimes available.

 

We are the longest established model shop in the Bridgend County Borough area.

 

Locally, there are various pubs and shops which offer various services.  The beach - just down the road - offers a superb seascape, with sand dunes behind the seashore.  The town of Porthcawl is a short distance away (about 1 mile), where a variety of shops, restaurants and cafes can be found. You can even enjoy a sometimes bracing walk along the promenade!  You can even see the only ‘tarmaced’ beach in the world...
